This
is very important!. You must carry a current
passport with
you. The airlines will not allow you to board the plane without it.
If you will be driving a car while in Costa
Rica, you will also need to have with you a current drivers license as
well.
So be sure that your
passport and drivers license are both up to date and that you carry them
with you as you travel to Costa Rica.
As an extra precaution, it is
always a good idea
to carry with you photocopies of your identification (passport and driver's license) and
keep them in a safe place, separate from your original travel documents in
case your originals are misplaced or lost.
